Job Summary

The Vice President, Finance is a strategic leader and partner to the CFO. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role plays a pivotal part in shaping financial direction, strengthening governance, and supporting enterprise-wide decision-making. The Vice President, Finance will oversee core finance functions and collaborate closely with senior and operational leaders.

Job Duties Strategic Leadership
  • Partner with the CFO to develop and execute the organization’s financial strategy.
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to enhance revenue and optimize costs.
Financial Operations & Reporting
  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax and internal controls.
  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, compliance frameworks, and audit readiness.
  • Personally engage in complex accounting issues and analysis when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 20, including three direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Build financial literacy across the organization by partnering with operational leaders.
Business Partnership
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, marketing, and other departments to support strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis team for financial modeling and analysis on new projects, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, executive team, and board.
Governance & Risk Management
  • Oversee corporate governance related to financial policies, controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and financial institutions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Employee Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including oversight of teams and complex financial operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
  • Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms; comfort with data-driven decision-making.
  • A strategic thinker who can balance high‑level vision with hands‑on execution.
  • High integrity, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Working Conditions

Compensation

The range offered for this position is: $170,000 – $225,000 annually, plus 25% bonus.

Compensation offered within this range is based on factors unique to each candidate, including skills, qualifications, experience and credentials.
