Wealthsimple Securities Lending Associate

In this role, you will collaborate with the Securities Lending team and various departments to optimize securities lending processes. You will be responsible for timely settlements, loan recall processes, and maintaining strong relationships with counter parties. This position requires analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in timely loan and return settlements

• Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate trade flow

• Support daily reconciliation of records

• Communicate effectively with external counter parties

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years at a broker-dealer or financial institution

• Background in finance, accounting, or related field

• Strong Excel and Google Sheets proficiency

• Capability to manage strict deadlines

• Understanding of operational procedures in corporate actions
