Treasury Expert

Position: Treasury Expert for BC Hydro

This role, reporting directly to the Assistant Treasurer, involves managing liability and cash functions while overseeing compliance with banking practices. Your expertise in financial planning and excellent communication skills will be critical for negotiating banking arrangements and fostering strong relationships. You will also spearhead projects that enhance treasury efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and develop treasury payment standards and policies

• Negotiate and manage banking arrangements effectively

• Lead projects related to banking and liability management

• Prepare cash and liability forecasting reports

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

• CFA, CPA, or CTP certification preferred

• Six years minimum in treasury or banking sector

• Experience with risk management and financial analysis

• Proficiency in treasury systems and MS Office
