In this full-time position, you will monitor market conduct risks and lead high-profile regulatory examinations. You’ll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess compliance of financial institutions, utilizing your expertise to analyze various data sources effectively. Your contributions will directly enhance regulatory practices and consumer protection throughout British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct complex regulatory examinations on high-risk financial files
• Lead cross-jurisdictional teams for examinations and policy work
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data for compliance risks
• Prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
• Support regulatory interventions and provide stakeholder training
Requirements:
• Related degree and significant experience in regulatory roles
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial regulations
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Proven experience leading complex financial examinations
• Knowledge of insurance and risk management principles
