Tax and Treasury Manager at Orezone

Step into a pivotal role at Orezone Gold Corporation as a Tax and Treasury Manager in the Finance & Accounting department. Drive financial reporting, compliance, and support treasury functions in a dynamic team.

You will work closely with the Director of Finance and site-based teams in Québec and West Africa to ensure accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls. With responsibilities ranging from tax return preparation to financial close activities, this role is ideal for a CPA with experience in corporate finance and treasury. You will also help maintain compliance with Canadian tax regulations and support external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare corporate income tax returns and supporting documents

• Assist in quarterly financial close processes and reporting

• Review and file commodity tax returns

• Support financial modeling and cash forecasts

• Coordinate with external auditors and comply with regulations

Requirements:

• CPA with 3-5 years in corporate finance or public accounting

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian Tax

• Familiarity with Sage accounting software is a plus

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Proficiency in French is advantageous
