THE ROLE
As an Intern in Business Finance, you will support with:
Forecasting sales and/or business expenses in the short and long term, simultaneously analyzing and explaining key drivers of future growthUnderstanding and analyzing business results including the internal (business-driven) and external (macroeconomic) drivers for P&L line itemsSupporting our business partners with financial analysis, insights, and go-forward recommendations on sales events, special projects, and business initiativesIdentifying opportunities for smart spend management through informed and fact-based business decisionsProviding our business partners and Aritzia Leadership Team with timely and accurate reporting on performance results, calling out key highlights, risks, and opportunitiesTHE QUALIFICATIONS
The Intern, Business Finance has/is:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, with a preferred graduation date of April 2027 to April 2028
Preferably pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or BusinessA commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partnersA commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the businessPassion for Aritzia and the fashion industrySkills and experience with Excel are an assetA logical, organized approach with an appreciation for structure and detailsA problem solver who thinks critically to develop insightful solutionsWork experience in Aritzia Boutiques, Concierge, or Distribution Centres is highly valuedTHE DEPARTMENT
