The Opportunity:
We are looking to fill an opening for a Bilingual New Account Administrator to join our Operations team for 6 months.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Account Opening and Specialized Accounts, the Bilingual New Account Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day processing of new and fee-based accounts in an accurate and timely manner in the CISO (formerly IIROC) Dealer Member Space.
The Bilingual New Account Administrator interacts daily with others within the Operations team as well as with our dedicate advisor service team. Continuous improvement is a priority, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and/or support efficiency improvement ideas.

Process new accounts in accordance with service level agreementsProvide administrative support and ensure coverage of our fee-based lines of business, including ongoing account management in our various fee-based programsEnsure compliance with protocol when processing applications, by providing clear and concise notes with relevant and up-to-date information from internal and external sourcesEnsure documents are in good order and input/update client dataProperly use all relevant systems (Laserfiche, OSM, Dataphile) in accordance with company policies and industry regulationsEnsure that accounts are properly prepared in accordance with the NAAFs and that transactions are coded correctly according to tax reporting rulesEnsure that internal manuals are updated and updated based on changes in company policies, industry regulations, and systems or proceduresCommunicate with peers and the supervisor about any issues or changes that arise to ensure that all parties are informedConducts regular cross training to fulfill the learning of all aspects of the processing functionsFoster an environment of continuous improvement that sparks idea generation, curiosity and participation in various initiativesMeet or exceed partner and customer expectations in day-to-day relationships, demonstrating an understanding of the impact your work has on partners and customersRequirements
Your experience and skills:
Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experienceMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative capacity, preferably in the mutual fund or financial services industrySuccessful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an assetStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Knowled…
