Position: Spa Consultant (Part-Time)

Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and customer service-oriented Spa Consultant to join the Spa Department.

As the face of Orrin Spa, you are responsible for creating a seamless, luxury experience from the moment a guest arrives until they depart. You will balance high-touch guest interactions with precise administrative tasks, ensuring the spa operates at peak efficiency and impeccable standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Welcome and bid farewell to guests with a sense of refined hospitality, acting as a dedicated host for Orrin Spa, the Health Club, and our lounge galleries.
  • Curate the daily spa experience by managing reservations and treatment schedules with intuitive grace and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ensure the spa environment remains a sanctuary of impeccable cleanliness and aesthetic harmony throughout the day.
  • Share a basic understanding of wellness therapies and retail collections, providing bespoke recommendations that resonate with the guest's needs.
  • Handle guest registration, financial settlements, and administrative duties with absolute discretion and professional poise.
  • Maintain a composed and proactive presence, navigating a fast-paced environment with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Oversee the replenishment of essential spa amenities and inventory to ensure a seamless operation.
  • Foster an atmosphere of trust by upholding the strictest standards of guest privacy and personal confidentiality.

This position requires flexibility in terms of scheduling, and must be available for various shifts especially Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays; morning or evening shifts.

Hourly wage is $32.97

Qualifications
  • Previous Spa or hospitality experience, minimum of 2–3 years
  • Basic Product & Treatment Knowledge
  • Serve It Right and Food Safe Certification required
Visa Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
