We are seeking an experienced Stock Worker for the BC Place Stadium.

Sodexo Live! is the Official Supplier of Food and Beverage Services to BC Place Stadium. BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Located at the north side of False Creek, it is owned and operated by the BC Pavilion Corporation, a Crown corporation of the province. Home to BC Lions, Vancouver White Caps, Concerts and Live events, the facility hosts welcomes hundreds of thousands of fans each year, while generating significant economic activity for the Province.

Job Overview:

The warehouse worker is responsible for the receiving, transferring and safe storage of all food and beverage items for Sodexo Live at BC Place Stadium. You will be instrumental in supporting outstanding fan and staff relations and providing in game customer service to all areas of the facility. Please note the shifts for this role will vary and could be in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Receiving and delivering of all food and beverage from multiple suppliers, verifying all items against purchase orders or stand sheets
• Picking orders and delivering to multiple stand locations and portables throughout the stadium and ensuring picks are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
• In event replenishment of stands and portables, often pivoting to provide them with supplies during busy periods
• Monthly inventory, involving the proper counting and reporting of all items
• Maintenance and changeover of fryer oil in concession stands
• Proper food handling procedures
• Continued use/driving of warehouse equipment and reporting any maintenance issues of each item, including but not limited to forklifts, power jacks and pallet jack.
• Responsible for proper sanitation and cleanliness of all Sodexo Live! work areas, following weekly/monthly cleaning schedule set out by supervisor/manager
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods during a shift.
• Must have CSA Steel Toe boots
• Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Work with limited supervision
• A proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands.

Other Requirements:

• Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
• Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
