Location: Vancouver, BC (On-site)

Compensation: Starting at $25.49/hour (increases to $29.74 after 6 months and $33.99 after 1 year)

Role Summary

As a Front Office Host, you are the face of the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. This highly visible role is essential to creating a seamless and meaningful guest experience. You will manage the registration process, handle guest inquiries, and act as a primary point of contact for hotel services and promotions. We are looking for a dedicated, professional, and customer-service-oriented individual who thrives on casual conversation and providing efficient, caring service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Relations: Lead the guest registration (check-in/check-out) process and engage in personalized conversation to enhance the guest stay.
  • Communication: Actively promote hotel services, amenities, and local recommendations.
  • Financial Transactions: Accurately process various forms of payment and handle billing inquiries.
  • Problem Solving: Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain a high standard of service that reflects Hyatt’s commitment to care.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (no sponsorship provided).
  • Service Mindset: Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand, write, and use a computer for the duration of the shift.
    • Frequent walking and occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, or kneeling.
    • Ability to navigate stairs and ramps as needed.
