Be part of VRES Youth Cultural Diversity Day as an Event Support Assistant in Vancouver. Engage with attendees and support event coordination on August 8, 2026.
VRES is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for Youth Cultural Diversity Day at the Roundhouse Community Centre. The Event Support Assistant role includes welcoming guests, setting up booths, and facilitating activities. You will also capture event highlights for social media, making it a valuable experience for community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and guide attendees on arrival
• Set up event booths and activity stations
• Prepare materials and track inventory
• Run activity stations and engage participants
• Capture event highlights for social media
Requirements:
• Must be 12 years or older
• Fluent in English and independent commute
• Comfortable in fast-paced outdoor settings
• Friendly interactions with children and community members
• Take initiative and work independently
