Banquet Houseperson in Food Services

Contribute to our vibrant Food Services & Catering team as a Banquet Houseperson. This role is essential for setting up venues and delivering food and beverages for conferences.

Join our Union staff as a dedicated Houseperson responsible for venue preparation and logistical support. You will assist with setting up food stations, delivering items, and ensuring smooth operations during events, while working within a flexible schedule that includes mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and reset room venues for events

• Deliver food and beverages to various campus locations

• Operate audio-visual and public address systems

• Assist organizers and attendees on-site during events

• Maintain accurate delivery records and inventory

Requirements:

• High-school graduation and valid BC driver's licence

• Physical ability to lift up to 30kg

• Strong communication skills; attention to detail

• Familiarity with campus facilities and equipment

• Previous experience in banquet support preferred
