Night Cleaner

HI Vancouver Jericho Beach is a seasonal hostel that opens from May to September and is located on Vancouver’s Westside, just minutes from parkland, forest trails, and seaside paths.

This job is more than a housekeeping cart; it’s about being part of a team and interacting with travelers who are looking for local adventure. You will work as a team to maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the hostel.

• Work 7.5‑hour overnight shifts starting around 22:00. Report to the Housekeeping Supervisor and ensure the hostel is kept clean by performing housekeeping duties at night.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests during the nighttime hours.
• Ensure all common areas, washrooms, showers, and hallways are cleaned to our standard and follow the hostel cleaning schedule.
• Communicate regularly with the Housekeeping Supervisor and the Night Auditor to ensure rooms are cleaned as needed. What we look for
