As a Banquet Houseperson at UBC Food Services, your responsibilities include setting up tables and equipment, delivering supplies across campus, and providing on-site assistance during events. You’ll engage with diverse individuals and help create an enjoyable experience for attendees, enhancing your skills in customer service, food service coordination, and logistical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and reset tables with linens and tableware

• Deliver food and supplies to various campus venues

• Operate and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment

• Provide on-site support for events and monitor facilities

• Assist with event cleanup and guest inquiries

Requirements:

• High school diploma and a valid BC driver's license

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights

• Experience with food services or events preferred

• Strong attention to detail in service delivery
