The Event Operations Manager oversees all aspects of event execution at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. With at least three years of leadership experience in banquet or event operations, you'll be responsible for managing events with up to 1,500 guests. This role demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to foster a positive team culture while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for Event Operations with a focus on quality
• Set the standard for guest interactions and communication
• Inspire and develop colleagues through feedback and recognition
• Oversee seamless execution and billing of events
• Collaborate with Event Sales & Service teams for consistent quality
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of leadership in large-scale event operations
• Proven success managing events of up to 1,500 guests
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships across departments
• Serving It Right certification required
