Catering and Events Specialist

Elevate event experiences at Vancouver Aquarium by joining as the Catering and Event Coordinator. Focus on building client relationships while producing remarkable events for diverse audiences.

As part of a dedicated team, you will assist in the planning of events for up to 400 attendees and create detailed Banquet Event Orders. Collaborating closely with the Banquet and Culinary Departments, you will foster connections through comprehensive communication and in-person interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage site inspections and tours for potential clients

• Foster excellent client relationships through professional interactions

• Ensure accurate event documentation and handover to Banquet teams

• Maintain and update event management systems consistently

• Attend important meetings and events within the organization

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in event or hospitality management preferred

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in event coordination

• Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities

• Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage operations

• Valid Serving It Right certificate necessary
