Lead banquet operations at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, applying guest service expertise and supervisory skills across luxury hotel functions.
The Assistant Manager, Event Operations plans and organizes banquets, ensuring smooth service at the hotel and other venues. You supervise, train, and monitor banquet personnel while supporting guest relations and operational standards. The position coordinates food and beverage service with Culinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and organize banquet operations and functions
- Supervise, train, and document banquet personnel performance
- Coordinate food and beverage preparation and service
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings with dining staff
- Maintain smooth operations, cleanliness, and service standards
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
- Luxury hotel experience preferred
- Hospitality Management diploma or degree preferred
- Serving it Right and Food Safe certifications
- Fluent written and oral English communication
