Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources Systems and Operations, the HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and usability of Rain City’s HR information system. This role combines data management, system administration, and analytical reporting to ensure that Dayforce remains a trusted source of truth for Payroll, HR, and Finance stakeholders.

The HRIS Analyst develops and maintains recurring and ad hoc reports, manages user access and configuration changes, and helps create clear documentation and SOPs that guide consistent data practices. The role also supports and trains end users and timekeepers—primarily program managers—on reporting, timekeeping accuracy, and system workflows to improve data quality and reduce rework across teams.

Working closely with Payroll, HR Operations, and IT, this role supports data governance, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives across the employee lifecycle. It requires a strong analytical thinker who can translate complex data or configuration challenges into practical, reliable solutions. Ideal candidates may come from a variety of backgrounds, including HRIS, payroll, business analysis, or STEM fields such as computer science or engineering, but share the ability to manage data accurately, understand relational structures, and continuously improve system processes.
