Responsibilities
  • Join the Talent Acquisition team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist reporting to the VP of HR. Be the sole dedicated TA Specialist on the team, collaborating with HRBPs, L&D Specialists, and others.
  • Manage a steady req load (currently 20–30), with most positions in Canada and some international searches for Europe, Asia, Oceania. Many roles are repeatable across markets.
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, headhunting, screening, interviewing, background & reference checks, and making/offering negotiations.
  • Recruit for engineering roles (systems, mechanical, hardware, software, project, electrical, etc.) and lead corporate recruitment for HQ (accounting & finance, legal, administration, HR, IT, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and communicate with the executive team on the talent acquisition pipeline, opportunities, and challenges. Contribute to TA process improvements, TA-related projects, and employment branding.
  • Potential for advancement to Talent Acquisition Lead level for candidates with at least 7 years of progressive recruitment experience (in-house experience preferred) with strategic TA function management.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment; 5+ years preferred. Agency and/or in-house experience acceptable, with a preference for both.
  • Excellent sourcing and headhunting skills, including experience recruiting for high-demand or rare technical professionals in engineering and technology. International recruitment is an asset.
  • Experience optimizing use of an HRIS or ATS (user testing, customization, adding modules, etc.).
  • Relevant post-secondary education highly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary commensurate with level of talent acquisition skills and experience, in the range of $85,000 to $105,000, with upward mobility for TA Lead level. Benefits include health & dental, paid vacation, PD support, and an RRSP matching program.

Location & Work Arrangements

Full time in office. The company is headquartered in Greater Vancouver. Perks include flexible options: 8-hour days with Fridays at home, or 4x10-hour days with Fridays off, or a 9-hour day with every 2nd Friday off. These options support interviewing across time zones.
