**** Your role
*** Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize organizational capabilities, behaviors, and structures that support strategic goals.
* Provide HR and LR leadership, coaching and advice to support the Operational and project leadership teams on all people-related matters.
* Build strong, credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide thoughtful coaching on talent management, performance, recruitment, terminations, compensation, development, and change management.
* Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of the collective agreement and Human Resources policies and procedures.
* Advise and support managers on labour laws, disciplinary actions, and administrative processes to ensure fair and consistent practices in a unionized and non-unionized work environment.
* Partner with the Recruitment team and hiring managers to support staffing plans, project assignments, project mobilization and demobilization as well as talent redeployment.
* Anticipate business and project needs to deliver HR solutions aligned with the mission, vision, and values.
* Lead initiatives that boost employee engagement, strengthen culture, and retain top talent.
* Periodically undertake special projects as a project leader or project team member## ##
** About you
*** Completion of a University degree in Human Resources and/or Industrial relations degree/diploma program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
* Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a generalist in HR.
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, negotiate, facilitate and resolve conflict.
* Knowledge of unionized environment, investigations, grievance, and arbitration processes will be considerate an asset.
* Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law and organizational development.
* Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful
* Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately with minimal supervision.
* Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization and to establish and maintain effective working project partnerships.
* Knowledge in Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* French oral and written skills will be considered a strong asset as the role interacts across Canada.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $80,000- $110,000 annually) (Only Applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
