Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, BC (in-office required)
Reports to: Head of Finance & Operations
Hours: 20 to 30 hours per week
Salary Range: 35 to 45 CAD per hour

About the Role
This is a hands-on, growth-oriented HR role supporting Misty West’s core people processes. You will assist in running and maintaining people programs while learning how to scale them in a structured and thoughtful way.
You will support the execution of:
Performance review cyclesOKR and KPI trackingCompensation benchmarking supportRecruiting and hiring coordinationCore HR operations and compliancePeople and culture initiativesYou will work closely with the Head of Finance & Operations and leadership team to ensure processes are organized, documented, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of performance review cycles including scheduling, documentation tracking, and follow-upsMaintain performance documentation and assist in calibration preparationAssist with compensation benchmarking research and salary band updatesSupport recruiting coordination including job postings, scheduling, candidate communication, and ATS updatesHelp maintain accurate employee records and HR documentationSupport onboarding and offboarding processesAssist with OKR and KPI tracking and documentationContribute to internal culture initiatives and team events such as retreats, workshops, Lunch and Learns, and celebrationsEnsure HR processes are organized, documented, and compliantRequirements
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Talent AcquisitionPost-secondary education in HR, Business, or related fieldWorking toward CPHR designation is an assetExperience working in a consulting or technology industry is an assetStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable communicating with employees and leadershipInterest in learning compensation, performance management, and HR systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentNice to Have
Experience supporting a consultancy, startup, or technical environmentExposure to recruiting coordination or HR administrationExperience helping plan team events or internal engagement initiatives
