Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Consultant, Talent Management
, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of Vancity’s enterprise talent management programs. This role supports the end‑to‑end execution of core talent processes by translating research, data, and program plans into well‑organized materials, seamless logistics, and positive experiences for leaders and employees. You will work closely with partners across People & Culture to ensure talent programs are delivered with consistency, accuracy, and care, supporting leader effectiveness and employee development across the organization.
This is a full
‑
time, temporary role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Learning and Talent Development. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be onsite for events and business demands
How You'll Make an Impact:
Supporting the operational delivery of enterprise talent programs and cycles through coordination of scheduling, communications, documentation, trackers, and follow‑upsSynthesizing research and data into clear, well‑structured presentations and draft business cases for review and decision‑makingAssisting with planning and logistics for talent activities such as calibration sessions, leader working sessions, communications rollouts, and program timelinesMaintaining program materials, templates, records, and process documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and ease of accessTracking action items, deliverables, and milestones across multiple initiatives to support timely completion and readinessProviding day‑to‑day operational support for talent systems and tools, including data entry, user support, workflow coordination, and basic troubleshootingCoordinating meeting logistics, pre‑reads, agenda materials, and post‑session follow‑ups to support effective use of leader and employee timeIdentifying and implementing opportunities to improve templates, communications, checklists, and repeatable processes while upholding high quality standardsWhat You’ll Bring to the Team:
A post‑secondary degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related fieldA minimum of 3 years of experience supporting talent management, HR programs, or people‑focused initiativesDemonstrated experience coordinating complex programs, timelines, and multiple stakeholders simultaneouslyStrong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data and research into clear, practical materialsExperience supporting HR systems or talent tools, including data entry, reporting, and user supportHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentExtra Skills That Set You Apart:
Experience supporting leadership development, performance management, DEIR, or career development programsFamiliarity with HRIS or talent management platformsExperience working in a unionized or values‑driven organizationYou’ll Thrive Here If You Are:
