Student Placement and Engagement Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will manage student placements and volunteer coordination initiatives at Louis Brier Home and Hospital and Weinberg Residence. Your efforts will emphasize community collaboration, creating positive experiences while supporting residents’ quality of life through trauma-informed practices and person-centered care principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment and onboarding for volunteers

• Oversee student placement processes and logistics

• Develop community partnerships to enhance engagement

• Conduct satisfaction surveys and program evaluations

• Organize initiatives to recognize student and volunteer contributions

Requirements:

• Degree in human resources or related field

• 3-5 years in volunteer or student coordination

• Preferred experience in healthcare or community settings

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
