Reporting to the CEO/President, this pivotal role involves collaboration with senior leaders and the HR + Governance Committee while overseeing critical HR functions. The Director will implement strategies that enhance engagement, develop employee relations, and support organizational development initiatives. You’ll leverage your people strategy expertise to ensure that Vancouver Foundation’s HR practices align with its mission and values, fostering psychological safety in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all facets of human resources
• Develop and enhance employee engagement strategies
• Oversee compensation and benefits administration
• Support JEDI initiatives and organizational culture
• Collaborate with leadership to align HR practices
Requirements:
• At least seven years in progressive HR leadership
• Recognized HR designation preferred
• Experience in nonprofit or social impact sectors
• Deep understanding of equity-driven HR practices
• Capacity to guide teams amid organizational changes
