Job Summary

The HR Field Advisor supports the Canada HR team by performing the administrative functions of HR processes, programs, and policies across the employee lifecycle. This role builds and maintains collaborative relationships with several HR teams, including immigration, legal, consulting, and onboarding. The Advisor also works asynchronously to drive reporting and compliance deliverables on a regular cadence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR Generalists and leadership teams
  • Organize and triage HR inboxes, sharing knowledge or connecting employees to the right resources in a timely manner.
  • Assist in implementing HR processes with minimal supervision.
  • Enter, validate, and analyze data in Excel — including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables — and build slides that visualize trends.
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools to summarize data sets and accelerate reporting.
  • Support HR programs and initiatives through clear, detailed communication and regular reporting.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as document preparation, data entry, and invoice payment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Digitally fluent, with hands‑on experience using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and strong prompt‑writing skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proactive and self‑driven, consistently delivering tasks on time.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years in HR operations or administration
  • Exposure to a large or matrixed organization is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Canadian HR practices
  • Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for analysis and reporting
  • Experience with HR systems and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
