Vancouver Employer Relations Specialist Role

Become an essential part of ISSofBC as an Employer Relations Specialist, located in Vancouver Downtown East Side. This in-office position is dedicated to enhancing job opportunities for clients with various barriers.

You will partner with the WorkBC program to build relationships with employers, marketing services to generate job leads.

Your role includes preparing clients for interviews, supporting their development, and addressing placement challenges effectively. This position is vital in connecting job seekers with appropriate employment avenues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement strategies for employer engagement

• Organize job fairs and networking sessions

• Develop quality job matches through screening

• Market clients effectively to employers for placements

• Perform administrative tasks and maintain program records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar

• At least one year of experience in recruiting

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Proven track record of building employer relationships

• Ability to maintain a clear Criminal Record Check
