As an Associate International Student Recruiter/Advisor at the University of British Columbia, you will drive international recruitment strategies supporting undergraduate enrollment.
Your role includes crafting effective presentations, advising prospective students, and collaborating with school counselors to share essential information about UBC’s admissions process. You will handle the entire recruitment cycle including overseas travel and event organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute visits to schools and colleges
• Deliver engaging recruitment presentations in various formats
• Advise students on admission requirements and procedures
• Conduct follow-ups with prospects post-recruitment events
• Collaborate with academic staff for effective student transition
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
• 1-2 years of related recruitment experience
• Strong knowledge of international education systems
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Proficient with student information systems and CRM software
