HR Manager in West

Join the City of West Vancouver as a permanent full-time HR Manager focusing on Wellness, Safety, and Disability Management. Leverage your HR expertise to enhance community well-being and support diverse employee needs.
This role reports directly to the Director of Human Resources & Payroll Services. You will manage a talented HR team, provide comprehensive consultation on various HR programs, and oversee compliance with legislation and internal policies. Your leadership and relationship-building skills will drive effective practices within the organization while ensuring a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse HR team with a focus on performance

• Advise on human resource programs and initiatives

• Ensure compliance with legislation and collective agreements

• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders

• Participate in special projects and additional duties
Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources or related field

• Experience in Disability Management and Labour Relations

• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• CPHR designation is an asset
