Human Resources Generalist

Join Weyerhaeuser as a Human Resources Generalist supporting our Vancouver manufacturing site. In this temporary role, you’ll manage HR processes and labor relations while ensuring a positive work environment.

This position is a 24-month temporary assignment at the Annacis Island manufacturing site. Reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Business Manager, you will be responsible for onsite HR support, enhancing employee relations, compliance, and diversity goals. Strong leadership skills and HR technical knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Role model safety standards across team

• Consult and coach leaders and associates

• Manage staffing functions, sourcing, and onboarding

• Ensure compliance with provincial labor laws

• Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources

• 2 to 4 years of HR generalist experience

• Strong coaching and influencing capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Experience in manufacturing union environments preferred
