What You Will Do
Within the context of a patient, client and family-centred model of care and, in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Providence Health Care, the position promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff.
The Recruitment Analyst:
Processes and tracks new posting requests through the ATS, completes the qualifying process for internal postings, and prepares applicant lists for hiring managers. The role includes creating and sending internal transfer letters, processing internal employee transfers, and uploading new or revised job descriptions into the ATS. The Recruitment Analyst actively manages position control by monitoring internal employee movement and hiring activities, assists in verifying position attributes for Master Rotation Changes, and responds to employee-related inquiries.
Additionally, the Recruitment Analyst advises management and employees on the displacement and bumping process.
The Analyst also helps to support the Recruitment Advisor team with external hiring processes including: reference checks for shortlisted external applicants, supports Recruitment Advisors in administering pre-employment testing, and assists with resume screening and phone screening. The Recruitment Analyst is responsible for preparing and sending Offer Letters of Employment and onboarding packages, processing new hires in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and providing logistical support for external recruitment activities.
This includes coordinating recruitment event materials, maintaining inventory, overseeing the Employee Referral Program, managing the Moving Expenses Initiative, and supporting New Employee Orientation. The Recruitment Analyst also responds to recruitment-related inquiries as needed.
Education: Post secondary education in Human Resources Management or Recruitment.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year, but ideally two (2) years of related Human Resources or Recruitment experience in a large and complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of collective agreements, relevant government legislation and human resources and recruitment practices and procedures.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, handle multiple assignments effectively and meet deadlines.
- Ability to utilize both verbal and written communication skills to obtain information and provide routine information in verbal, written and electronic formats.
- Ability to gather and document information accurately and efficiently.
- An aptitude for generating statistics and summarizing data.
- Broad knowledge of best recruiting practices and an aptitude for marketing.
- Skilled computer literacy with HR Information Systems and Programs, Applicant Tracking System usage, word processing, spreadsheet and database programs, such as MS Word, Excel and Access, is required.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate and work with others effectively
- Strong customer service skills, ability to respond to inquiries in an effective timely manner as well as provide a top-notch employee and candidate experience.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
