Strategic HR Advisor for PHS Community Services

Join PHS Community Services as a Strategic HR Advisor to provide operational HR support and guidance. This role focuses on fostering positive labour-management relationships in a unionized setting.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources & Labour Relations, this full-time position requires 3-5 years of HR experience in employee and labour relations. You will offer expertise in performance management, conflict resolution, and assist in conducting workplace investigations while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide managers on HR policies and labour relations matters

• Conduct workplace investigations and prepare documentation

• Support collective agreement administration and grievance handling

• Foster employee engagement and resolve workplace concerns

• Protect sensitive HR information with sound judgment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent

• Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience

• Familiarity with BC HR regulations and legislation

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

• Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
