We're hiring on behalf of a respected boutique firm located in downtown Vancouver, seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing Wills & Estates practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator looking to develop a strong practice within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

The firm is particularly interested in candidates with an existing book of business or demonstrated ability to generate and maintain client relationships.

What You'll Do

Manage and assist with wills variation claims, estate disputes, and related litigation matters

Appear before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and other relevant tribunals

Draft pleadings, affidavits, applications, and settlement materials

Conduct discoveries, mediations, and settlement negotiations

Provide strategic advice to executors, beneficiaries, and trustees

Contribute to business development initiatives and grow your practice

What We're Looking For

2024 year of call or more (BC)

Litigation experience, ideally with exposure to wills and estates matters

Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills

Confidence in managing files independently

Book of business preferred (or strong interest in developing one)

Entrepreneurial mindset and client-focused approach

Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
