Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join their Bankruptcy & Insolvency group in downtown Vancouver. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a national firm known for its excellence and professionalism.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal and administrative support to the Bankruptcy & Insolvency litigation team
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, and court forms
- File legal documents with the courts in accordance with BC procedures and deadlines
- Prepare for trials and hearings, including organizing exhibits and compiling briefs
- Open and close files, manage billing processes, and perform general administrative tasks
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and manage scheduling, deadlines, and meetings
Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized Legal Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in litigation within a BC legal environment
- Experience in bankruptcy and insolvency law is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of BC Supreme Court Civil Rules and litigation procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal document management systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with a client-focused, professional approach
