We're hiring on behalf of a management-side firm seeking an associate to support its Labour, Employment, and Privacy practices. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys collaborative work, practical problem-solving, and building a long-term career in workplace law.

• Advise employer clients on labour relations, employment matters, and workplace privacy compliance
• Represent clients in labour arbitrations, tribunal matters, and regulatory proceedings (experience dependent)
• Support privacy-related work, including access requests, privacy impact assessments, and breach response
• Draft pleadings, policies, agreements, and advisory materials
• Work closely with senior lawyers while independently managing appropriate files

• 3+ years of post-call experience in labour & employment and/or privacy law
• Experience advising employers in a management-side practice
• Familiarity with privacy legislation such as PIPA, FOIPPA, and PIPEDA
• Strong advocacy, drafting, research, and analytical skills
• Practical, business-focused approach to client service
• Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligible for transfer)
