Legal Administrative Assistant - Estate & Wealth Advisory

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 + benefits
Our client, a well-established Vancouver law firm, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Estate & Wealth Advisory Group. This role supports senior lawyers with practices focused on estate and incapacity planning, trust planning, estate administration, and related corporate matters.

The RoleThis position provides comprehensive administrative and legal support to lawyers in a busy estates and wealth advisory practice, including both client-facing and behind-the-scenes responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with estate administration files, including correspondence, court forms, and supporting documentation
- Preparing, formatting, editing, and proofreading estate planning documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements, and trust documents
- Supporting general corporate matters, including incorporations, reorganizations, and ongoing corporate maintenance
- Managing client communications and coordinating document signings and witnessing
- Maintaining Outlook calendars, key dates, bring-forward systems, and scheduling internal and external meetings
- Organizing and maintaining complex legal files and document management systems
- Assisting with meeting preparation, presentations, and special projects
- Handling time entry, billing, and expense processes from start to finish
- Completion of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program
- 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a law firm or professional services environment
- Experience with estates, trusts, and/or corporate law is a strong asset
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF; experience with legal document management and accounting systems is an asset
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- Salary range of $60,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience
