Clark Wilson LLP is seeking a Paralegal to join our Corporate Services group. This is a full-time, permanent position and is ideal for anyone wanting to join a firm that takes pride in having a collegial working atmosphere, where growth, professional development, and teamwork are supported. • conduct minute book reviews, identify deficiencies, and prepare rectification documents;
• conduct due diligence searches;
• general corporate matters involving BC and Federal companies, including changes in directors, officers, and shareholders, dividends, share transfers and redemptions;
• extra-provincial registrations in BC and other Canadian provinces;
• corporate transactions, including in corporations, reorganizations, continuations, amalgamations, and dissolutions;
• prepare closing agendas and legal documents for large transactions; and
• general administrative duties as required.

• graduate of a recognized Paralegal program;
• a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal working in a legal environment, particularly in the area of Corporate Records;
• strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and BC Online;
• excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• the ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks and competing priorities;
• a client-centered approach with the commitment to providing outstanding service;
• the ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict deadlines;
• dedicated to providing service beyond expectation; and
• the ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion and confidentiality, and to adapt to changing demands.

In addition to a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000, we offer a range of benefits to ensure you are set up to thrive in a healthy work-life balance at Clark Wilson.
