Position Overview
Responsible for the overall management and administration of assigned projects. This includes ensuring on-time delivery, budgets are met, building customer relationships and all contractual matters through Project Launch, PPQ, Production, and Close-out are met.
Work You Do- Collaborate and Create:Develop estimates, schedules, and proposals, ensuring alignment with budgets and objectives. Lead smaller proposal opportunities, host kickoff meetings, and meet deadlines.
- Own the Process:Create and baseline schedules, ensuring alignment with production control and customer commitments. Maintain project health through risk analysis and earned value methodologies like CPI and SPI.
- Engage with Customers:Act as the bridge between various internal teams, maintaining transparent communication, sharing regular updates, and managing customer-driven requests efficiently.
- Optimize and Innovate:Drive cost/schedule recovery plans, monitor project metrics, coordinate cross-functional resources, and propose innovative solutions to enhance outcomes.
- Drive Success:Lead product and quality reviews to meet customer expectations. Utilize data to analyze project performance and oversee scorecards, forecasting, and reporting.
- Learn and Improve:Organize post-project reviews, applying lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives to fuel future success.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of Project Management experience
- Must possess or be working towards Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
- Experience with MS Project/P6 or Smartsheets, or other Project Management software is an asset.
- Experience in Nuclear industry is an asset.
- Experience with Medical device or/and pharmaceutical industry is an asset
- Experience working in an environment requiring detailed traceability of parts and documents.
- Proficient in the use of Excel and Word.
- Excellent relationship and communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage priorities.
- Ability to focus and concentrate on fine details.
