CA $82,400.00/yr – CA$/yr

• Provide expert advice on project management functions, including proactive risk management, quality assurance, business case development, cost estimation, scheduling, and reporting for Engineering Division projects.
• Supervise management of project documentation, information, and standards within the division.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, tools and techniques, metrics and measurements for project delivery.
• Oversee delivery of project management support services for all Engineering projects and advise management and project managers to drive project success.
• Support quality assurance activities, including quality planning, control, assurance, and improvement activities, and define, review, and achieve project quality goals.
• Maintain documentation and database on risk management for all projects within the division; provide a master risk management report and regular progress updates to leadership.
• Develop robust project scheduling and resourcing management guidelines; create and maintain master schedule and integrated resource plan, track milestones, adjust plans, and notify stakeholders of risks and issues.
• Establish project reporting systems with metrics and techniques to support, monitor, and evaluate delivery; develop dashboards and reports for Engineering projects and portfolios, analyze performance, provide senior leadership with insights, and support audit requests.
• Assist in preparation of project phase gate reviews (business case, scope, schedule, budget) and conduct assurance activities to meet gate requirements.
• Deliver centralized training and expert advice on policies, procedures, standards, techniques, guidelines, and best practices to project managers.
• Act as liaison between Engineering and internal stakeholders (Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Operating Companies) to support successful delivery.
• Provide day‑to‑day oversight, coaching, and guidance to reporting employees; collaborate with the manager on performance management and recruitment/selection.

• Completion of a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant certification (e.g., PMP) desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Solid knowledge of project management principles, theories, concepts, and reporting practices.
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills for critical, high‑impact issues.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time‑management skills for coordinating multiple concurrent activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Technical proficiency in business and project management software.

• Work Schedule:
  
  37.5 hours per week.
• Work Designation:
  Hybrid (on‑site and remote within B.C.).
• Rate of Pay:
  Salary ranges from $82,400 – $123,600 per annum, based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
