Match Box Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead complex mechanical projects across Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) construction. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership from planning through commissioning
, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, and trades while overseeing cost, schedule, quality, and subcontractor performance.

- Plan and execute mechanical projects in alignment with corporate policies.
- Prepare budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and progress reports.
- Oversee project performance including cost control, quality, safety, and contract compliance.
- Manage contracts, negotiate revisions, and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Hire, supervise, and coordinate union labor, subcontractors, and project staff.
- Monitor and mitigate risks through WIP review and proactive problem solving.
- Implement company and legislated Health & Safety programs.
- Maintain document control and project records using Procore.
- Manage material and equipment procurement for projects.
- Travel to project sites or client locations as required.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or college diploma in Construction Technology (extensive trade experience may substitute).
- 5–7 years in construction (commercial or institutional projects preferred), including supervisory experience.
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
- Intermediate knowledge of construction scheduling, project planning, and structural design interpretation.
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with JD Edwards or Oracle-based ERP is an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Available to travel.
