A leading national professional services firm is expanding its restructuring practice in British Columbia and is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Restructuring (LIT) to help drive market growth and lead complex corporate insolvency engagements. This role is designed for an experienced LIT ready to step into a broader leadership trajectory.
Key ResponsibilitiesSenior Manager, Corporate Restructuring (LIT) opportunity in downtown Vancouver.
- Lead and manage a portfolio of complex corporate restructuring and insolvency files, overseeing professional, technical, and administrative team members.
- Evaluate business issues, develop recommendations for stakeholders and the Court, and negotiate with creditors, debtors, lenders, and legal counsel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lawyers, lenders, regulators, and other restructuring professionals while actively contributing to business development and market presence.
- Provide financial oversight on engagements, including monitoring project milestones, reviewing invoices, managing trust accounts, and preparing financial summaries.
- CPA designation plus CIRP and LIT credentials (or active enrollment in the program).
- 5+ years of restructuring and insolvency experience within a Canadian professional services environment, with strong technical knowledge of insolvency proceedings.
- Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships, engage in market‑facing activities, and build referral networks.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams, contribute to practice growth, and operate with high ethical and professional standards.
Competitive, market‑validated compensation with a salary range of $150,000–$180,000 in Vancouver, adjusted for other markets as applicable.
