The Opportunity
Aritzia is growing and our Marketing Business Finance team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for partnering with the business to drive profitability by producing insightful financial analysis to make informed business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in Aritzia’s future growth by providing strategic and innovative solutions to support the Marketing department’s business in achieving both short and long-term corporate objectives.

The Role
As the Director, Business Finance, Marketing, you will lead the team to:
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
Be financial leaders in Marketing, partnering to drive profitability through marketing investment strategies, performance metrics, and campaign ROI analysis.
Plan and forecast for Marketing in the short and long term in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives and strategies.
Deliver simple, relevant, and timely reporting and insights to Marketing Leadership, enabling visibility into performance results and supporting decision-making.
The Qualifications
The Director, Business Finance, Marketing, has:
Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in:
Finance, Accounting, and Business Analysis in a marketing or retail environment
Marketing performance management and/or revenue growth management
Financial modelling, forecasting, performance reporting, and deriving insights
Simplifying complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders
Leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and reporting tools for decision-making
A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value
A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate
The Compensation
The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
