Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day operations across all café locations, ensuring consistency of service, product quality, and brand standards.
Lead and support the catering division, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and customer satisfaction for events of varying scale.
Develop and monitor operational processes to improve workflow, efficiency, and financial performance.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace regulations.
People Leadership & Culture
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of café managers, supervisors, and hourly staff across multiple locations.
Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performance culture built on accountability, communication, and respect.
Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members while modelling strong leadership presence and work ethic.
Ensure teams are supported with the tools, information, and training they need to succeed.
Financial & Commercial Management
Manage P&L performance across all units, monitoring key financial indicators including labour, COGS, and controllables.
Implement systems and processes to drive revenue growth and maintain expense discipline.
Analyze performance trends and use data to make informed operational decisions.
Support menu innovation, product rollouts, and promotional initiatives.
Technology & Systems Management
Optimize use of POS, scheduling, inventory, and reporting systems.
Champion digital tools that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and communication across units.
Ensure strong reporting, documentation, and data integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with ownership, kitchen leadership, catering management, and administrative teams.
Support larger strategic initiatives, expansion planning, and operational scaling as the business grows.
Requirements
Proven experience as a multi-unit operator, ideally within café, QSR, fast casual, or hospitality environments.
Demonstrated success in leading large teams and achieving operational and financial targets.
Strong understanding of labour management, forecasting, budgeting, and operational analysis.
Technologically confident with POS, scheduling, inventory, and reporting platforms.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
A hands-on manager who leads from the floor and understands the nuances of café operations.
Passion for hospitality and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
