Manager of Continuity and Resilience at YVR

Drive YVR’s strategic resilience initiatives as the Manager of Continuity and Resilience, ensuring safety and operational readiness. This term role is fundamental in overseeing emergency management and business continuity.

You will report to the Director of Operational Excellence and Improvement and lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to YVR's Emergency Management Plan and life safety systems.

Your role is critical in managing documentation and operational preparedness for a variety of risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and refine the Emergency Management Plan

• Lead business continuity efforts and regulatory compliance

• Manage the lifecycle of the Documentation Management Program

• Mentor team members in performance and coaching

• Collaborate with internal leaders and external agencies

Requirements:

• Five years of leadership experience in other safety-critical roles

• Expertise in emergency management best practices

• Proven track record of leading team initiatives

• Strong knowledge of disaster management principles

• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
