In your full-time role, you will report to the Senior Director of Facilities, managing a portfolio of BC SPCA facilities. Your expertise will help improve maintenance activities, facility inspections, and long-range planning while collaborating closely with location managers. You will also assist in coordinating construction projects to ensure compliance with BC SPCA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage maintenance activities for assigned facilities
• Ensure regular inspections of all BC SPCA properties
• Assist in developing the Long Range Facilities Plan
• Liaise with construction industry experts and stakeholders
• Maintain the asset management system for all locations
Requirements:
• 5-8 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Knowledge of BC Building and Fire Codes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Philosophical alignment with BC SPCA’s mission
