Lead environmental excellence in the West Region with Amazon as a Regional Environmental Manager based in Vancouver. Drive compliance, support operations, and manage environmental strategy across sites.
As a Regional Environmental Manager, you'll oversee environmental compliance and operational tactics at Amazon’s sites in the West Region of Canada. This onsite role involves significant travel (up to 50%) and includes leading continuous improvement initiatives, managing environmental regulations, and fostering an environmentally responsible culture. Your strategic direction will support business growth while ensuring compliance with laws and Amazon's environmental policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead risk assessments and compliance evaluations
• Manage multi-site compliance with environmental laws
• Develop partnerships to enhance sustainability
• Drive environmental culture and strategic initiatives
• Conduct audits and root cause analyses
Requirements:
• 6+ years of compliance or risk management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Bachelor's in Environmental Science or related field
• Experience with technology to enhance processes
