Elevate community impact as a Project Development Advisor with Cuso International in Lima, Peru. Focus on inclusive development through engagement with local and Canadian stakeholders to drive project initiatives.
This five-month role begins in August 2026 and seeks candidates fluent in advanced Spanish. You will help the Centro Bartolome de las Casas identify and pursue growth opportunities in rural enterprises. Responsibilities include training local stakeholders and designing competitive funding proposals, emphasizing your project management and corporate social responsibility expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies with Canadian businesses in Cusco
• Enhance stakeholder capabilities through targeted training
• Lead proposal development for rural funding initiatives
• Collaborate with the Cuso team throughout fieldwork
• Perform additional related tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant fields like Economics or Project Management
• Experience in NGO settings or similar roles
• Skills in training and process facilitation
• Sensitivity towards indigenous community engagement
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work
