Sky Train is looking for a dedicated Vehicle Department Supervisor to apply technical expertise in daily operations.
Your role will include managing maintenance services and guiding staff through training while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You'll collaborate on budget development and resource management for efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct daily technical service delivery and safety compliance
• Manage emergency incidents and shifting work priorities
• Lead recruitment, training, and team development efforts
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control processes
• Facilitate monthly safety meetings and incident investigations
Requirements:
• Red Seal or equivalent qualification in relevant trades
• 5 years of experience in maintenance services
• 3 years in a supervisory role in union settings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
