Your role as Assistant Manager involves overseeing the strategic development and functional operation of Geering Up Camps, Clubs, and Events. With a budget of $1.9 million, you will manage up to 125 seasonal staff while fostering collaboration with various partners to promote STEM education. This position requires innovative leadership, particularly in advancing outreach to diverse youth groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly manage large camp and event operations
• Ensure budgeting and financial planning accuracy
• Oversee comprehensive staff recruitment processes
• Develop and implement safety protocols
• Build relationships with community organizations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Three years’ experience managing youth programming
• Expertise in STEM education outreach is advantageous
• Strong leadership and organizational capabilities
• Must have a valid driver’s license
