Programs Director at Promise

Lead impactful programs for youth at Promise Vancouver in Downtown Eastside, Vancouver, BC. Seeking a hands-on leader to inspire growth in children and teens through community-focused initiatives.

As the Programs Director, you will oversee the entire program mix, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs. This senior role requires a blend of strategic oversight and on-the-ground management, with a strong emphasis on developing a supportive environment for participants. You will collaborate closely with staff and the Executive Director to enhance program quality and team cohesion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations of year-round programs

• Develop growth strategies for program reach and impact

• Foster a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed atmosphere

• Provide coaching, training, and supervision for staff

• Manage program budgets and resources efficiently

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of program management experience

• Strong leadership skills and staff development experience

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
