Make an impact with our Indigenous Services Capital Projects & Infrastructure Consulting team as a Manager. We are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead capital projects engagements that empower Indigenous governments and enterprises. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful change and contribute to the growth of Indigenous communities.
Responsibilities
Deliver specialized consulting services focused on capital project planning, infrastructure development, and contract administration with Indigenous communities and organizationsDive into client engagements, uncover their project priorities and challenges, and support client identified successSeize competitive business opportunities with a strategic mindset and develop compelling service delivery approaches, accurate effort estimates, and innovative pricing strategies to win new business and deliver exceptional valueDesign, create, and refine impactful reports, proposals, presentations, and correspondence, offering practical recommendations and insightful value conclusions that drive decision-makingClosely monitor project timelines, adjusting as needed to address any discrepancies proactively and ensure project targets are met with precisionLead engagement planning, scheduling, and financial management including budgets, work-in-progress, billing, and collectionsRecognize and address variances to keep projects on track and financially soundInspire and develop the team through effective mentoring, clear goal setting, constructive feedback, and performance reviews, fostering both professional and personal growthElevate MNP’s profile by leading in the local professional community and networking strategically to explore new business development opportunitiesSkills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in civil or building engineering, architecture, planning, environmental studies or other related fieldsFive or more years of experience in capital project planning, development, or related fieldExperience working with Indigenous communities or organizations preferredProven people management, relationship building, and leadership skillsFlexibility to travel to client sites as required
